I haven't used the radio in my car since mid March and I hadn't noticed until now. Honestly, I find the silence much more enjoyable when behind the wheel so I save the music for home or while walking around campus.

What? I'm sorry, I can't hear you over my wub system!
EDIT: did I just look like an ass right there?

What's a radio? (Has a shorty antenna for no reception)

I'm lucky enough to have an excellent radio station in my city (shout out to KCMP!) – it's public radio, so no ads, but it plays a huge variety of music, both modern and the classics, while avoiding most of the top 40 garbage. I listen to it a lot in the car, but I still sometimes prefer silence.
Especially if I'm navigating an unfamiliar area, or need to be extra-alert (at night, in parking lots, that kind of thing), the radio definitely goes off.

I've practically forgotten as well, lol.
Maybe for my next car, I'll just tick the box for a radio delete if possible.

Funny you used an image from Drive because Kavinsky makes for GREAT driving music.

Aux jack is the only way in this era, that's all I know.

Radio around here is okay (Puerto Rico) but I realized that no matter what's playing while I drive, my mind will tune it out by diverting all focus to the driving.
I don't know if that's my Aspergers prioritizing brain function but for me, the less background noise means the better I can drive.

Yeah that music is really cool and I noticed that too, lol.

Yeah, the same thing happens with me. But it's nice to have when sitting in traffic, or when there's not much going on.

In a nice new silent car I like the no radio thing. In my old daily driver minivan I go crazy listening to the different sounds of my interior panels if there's no radio

I'm always looking for radios to listen online, thanks for the tip, I'm checking KCMP right now..

In my Malibu, I can hear all sorts of bumps and groaning.
My S-Class is unsurprisingly as silent as a library inside of a graveyard. The only sound you can hear is the muffled pulse of the engine.

I drove from Abilene to Austin yesterday, and had silence almost the entire time. Long drives are good times for just thinking about stuff. I would recommend not listening to music while you're walking either. Don't check out; be a part of your surroundings.

I only do so occasionally while at school but for the most part, my phone sits undisturbed in my pocket.

In response to the edit, just funny lol.
